Information Covered by This Policy
This privacy policy covers personally identifiable information collected on the swissprec.com web site (the "Site"). It does not cover information collected by SPI through any other means. For purposes of this privacy policy, a distinction has been made between "consumer" and "authorized dealer." As SPI strictly sells its products through authorized dealers, the term consumer refers to those persons or entities that are not authorized dealers of SPI.

SPI collects the following personally identifiable information, as applicable, when consumers and authorized dealers register with our Site:
    Consumer/authorized dealer name
    E-mail address
    Authorized dealer user ID and password
    Authorized dealer billing address and telephone number
    Shipping address and telephone number (if different from billing address)
    Job title
    Federal Tax ID or SSN (DUNS # if an open account)
    Credit card information (optional)

Cookies and Other Technology Information
A cookie is a small file stored on your computer by a web site to give you a unique ID (each, a "Cookie"). SPI uses cookies to track new visitors to this Site and recognize past visitors in order to present more personalized content. Cookies are used to assist SPI in customizing Site information. The information that SPI collects is used primarily for improving the site. We also use the information we collect for the following purposes:
    E-mail addresses - We may use e-mail addresses we collect to inform consumers and authorized dealers of periodic sales promotions and Site updates, or to provide authorized dealers with requested documents. These documents include invoices and shipping notifications.
    Telephone numbers - We may use telephone numbers we collect to provide information concerning SPI to consumers and authorized dealers or to answer authorized dealers' questions about recently placed orders. Consumers and authorized dealers may also be contacted with information about new products, services or upcoming events. Authorized dealers' telephone numbers may also appear on shipping documents and package labeling associated with their orders. This is done so that our shippers may contact authorized dealers directly regarding delivery arrangements and other shipping-related questions.
    Mailing Addresses - We may use physical mailing addresses to ship orders and mail documents, such as invoices, packing slips, and credit memos, to authorized dealers. We may also use such addresses to send promotional materials, new product offerings and notices of upcoming trade shows to consumers.
If you do not want to receive the promotional e-mails, telephone information or physical mail described above, you may Opt Out.

Sharing Information with Third Parties
In the event SPI is purchased by a third party, the personally identifiable information used by SPI will be transferred to the purchaser together with all the other assets purchased.

OPTING OUT
At SPI, the choice is in the hands of visitors to our Site. Consumers and authorized dealers customers may have their information removed at any time from third party distribution, and SPI's use for promotional and other uses described above, by simply choosing to opt out. Please be aware that it may take up to one calendar month to remove e-mail addresses and three calendar months to remove mailing addresses. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Security
Making sure visitors to our Site feel secure is a top priority at SPI. SPI is continually working toward setting and improving the security of our Site. Swissprec.com uses a 128-bit SSL (secure socket layer) for the encryption of transactions on its web site. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address. Please remember, however, that authorized dealers are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of their user IDs and passwords and absolute security on the Internet cannot be guaranteed.

Third Parties
Third parties accessed from swissprec.com have separate privacy and data collection policies. Although SPIŤ is interested in customer feedback regarding these links, it is not responsible for any events that occur as a result of visiting them.
